You are far from the only Christian in your town
Faith is still part of ordinary British life. In the 2021 Census for England and Wales, 46.2% of people described themselves as Christian, according to the Office for National Statistics. Scotland's Census 2022 counted 38.8% Christian across the Church of Scotland, the Catholic Church and other churches. In Northern Ireland, the 2021 Census recorded 42% Catholic and 38% Protestant and other Christian, so roughly four in five people there name a Christian faith.
